Sophie & Damon – Conrad – Quinta Do Lago

Sophie and Damon are two of the friendliest, outgoing, laidback people that we have been lucky enough to work with.  And what was so lovely about them was how relaxed they were together and of course madly in love.  When you’re photographing a couple that are so at ease in each others company the photos pretty much take themselves as the moments unfold.

They got married on the beautiful rooftops of the Conrad, and their wedding was full of glamour, style and romance.  Their day started with Sophie getting ready at the Conrad and Damon at a villa in Dunas Douradas.  There was plenty of laughter and jokes and a little drinking too to help calm the nerves!

The ceremony took place on the rooftops of the Conrad which has stunning views of the sea and mountains all around.  As part of the ceremony they chose a beautiful lock box with letters written to each other to open in the future and reminisce about their special day and love for each other.  After they said I do and had their first kiss as man and wife they walked down the isle filled with rose pettles for drinks and canapés on the rooftop before their dinner in the gardens of the hotel.

These two always dreamed of having their wedding photos on the beach, so just before sunset we whisked them away to the beach to let them have some time to themselves on Praia do Garrão near Quinta do Lago, a beach they visit everytime they are here so meant  a lot to them.

It was a truly beautiful day, we were so privileged to be part of it, so thanks for having us guys.
